The Pallet Business is an online course that teaches entrepreneurs, business owners, and small trucking company owners how to start a used wood recycling business. This is done thru our online course that is composed of 15 course modules, pdfs, and in the field training.
This course is perfect for those of you that are looking for a side hustle business, trying to make extra income, starting your own business, looking for a good profitable business idea or just trying to make extra money with a truck. This course will give you everything that you would need to launch your very own profitable business.
If you’ve ever wanted to find out how to start a wood pallet recycling business then you’re in the right place. We also discuss various types of shipping supplies and services to help your company grow. This isn’t a course about picking up FREE pallets! This is NOT that kind of business model.
Levon Hinton (Owner of NV Carriers LLC) is the course instructor. He has over 16+ years of experience in trucking/logistics as a CDL Class A driver with almost 5 years as the owner of a small trucking company. He also established a used pallet division (RDU Pallets) within his trucking company.
Our course is designed to teach each business owner how to provide services and products to businesses for profit.
Can I start a pallet business with a box truck? Absolutely! In my experience, this is a must have piece of equipment. Here’s why! Globally, wood pallets are the most preferred form of shipping supplies. With millions in circulation or stored in a warehouse here in the US alone.
All businesses, large or small, will have something that either needs to be shipped using a pallet or their freight is delivered to them on a wood pallet. So, your customers will have various needs and situations. The most versatile piece of equipment that I’ve used in my company is our box truck. You can best tailor a solution for your customer with a box truck for this very reason.
Will any box truck work? Yes, any box truck can work! But I wouldn’t suggest doing it with just any box truck. I recommend a box truck that is dock height and has a liftgate. Tractor trailers are also good, but they’re mostly for medium to larger sized companies that accumulate hundreds if not thousands per day or week. I wouldn’t service a small company that doesn’t have a dock and only has 50 pallets with a tractor trailer. That’s like fishing with a shotgun! LOL
In my course, The Pallet Business 101, I teach my students the differences in the equipment and the pros and cons of each type of truck. We also teach about other high ticketed types of shipping supplies. Regardless if you have a box truck or tractor trailer you can use this business model. You can keep hauling freight for other companies while also having your pallet business or division.
If you’re asking yourself: Why should I be thinking about this right now? Are you watching the fuel prices? With the rising cost of fuel, so many companies are going to face a catastrophic increase to their fuel expenses. Remember when fuel was $5 per gallon? I can see that we’re well on our way there now! You need to be proactive in 2021! Higher fuel prices coupled with truck maintenance, insurance, payroll and all of your other expenses will increase your cost of operation. How are you going to combat this increase? Brokered freight? Running your truck 24 hours a day with Amazon, which is still brokered freight? How long do you think you can keep that up?
We’re offering a course to help you protect your company from rising operating costs. You don’t have to enroll in our course, but you will have to be proactive in order to stay in business. The choice is yours. We’re offering you a solution to a foreseeable problem. Go to the course website and sign up today! The link is in the description.
